Surbhi Sakhi Chaupal creates safe community spaces where girls build confidence and move beyond doubts.

This Chaupal is a way of taking centre-based learning deeper into communities, ensuring that learning does not remain limited to one space but reaches every girl. Through open conversations, girls come together to share, question, and understand their experiences in a supportive and welcoming environment.

Discussions focus on health and awareness, rights and duties, gender, and everyday social challenges, helping girls develop clarity, confidence, and a stronger sense of self.

Surbhi Sakhi Chaupal ensures that every girl has access to a space where she feels heard, supported, and encouraged to grow.

Advancing autism and disability awareness among parents, teachers, and community frontline workers through play-based education.

Anvarat Foundation, in collaboration with Umoya Sports, recently conducted workshops in Lucknow and Hardoi districts.

The workshops aimed to support early identification and sensitization among parents, teachers, ASHA workers, and Anganwadi workers, helping them better understand autism and other developmental disabilities. Through interactive activities and play-based learning methods, participants explored practical ways to engage with and support children with diverse needs.

The initiative has reached over 1,500 participants building awareness and encouraging more inclusive approaches within families, schools, and community systems.

Celebrating Womanhood at the Surbhi Centre

International Women’s Day at the Surbhi Centre brought girls and women together in a vibrant celebration of strength, creativity, and shared appreciation. The day witnessed enthusiasm and joy as participants engaged in activities like Mehndi and Rangoli making, turning the space into a colourful expression of togetherness.

The celebrations highlighted collaboration, confidence, and mutual encouragement among the girls and women. Participants were also facilitated with small gifts as a token of appreciation and participation, making the occasion even more special.

Moments like these continue to strengthen the spirit of collective growth and celebration of womanhood within the Surbhi community.

This International Women’s Day, we celebrate the potential within every girl to shape her own future. The journey of the Surbhi girls reminds us that when girls are given the space to learn, express themselves, and build confidence, they begin to see possibilities far beyond the limits often set around them.

Through Project Surbhi, we continue to support girls in discovering their strengths, nurturing their aspirations, and believing that they can become whatever they choose to be.

Surbhi girls stepping forward as voices of rights and responsibility in their communities.

Surbhi girls are stepping forward as voices of awareness through Nukkad Natak on constitutional rights and duties. By taking complex ideas into public spaces, they are helping communities reflect on equality, responsibility, and active citizenship.

These performances are more than street plays. They give girls the space to speak freely, express confidently, and engage openly with people around them. Standing before familiar faces, they learn to own their voice while creating awareness among a much wider section of the community.

Activities like Nukkad Natak are essential to the Surbhi journey building confidence, leadership, and expression, while enabling girls to lead change from within their own communities.

Bringing Healthcare Closer to communities Ensuring Equal and Inclusive Care for All

Over 250 community members from Shuklapur, Shahabad, and nearby villages accessed free medical consultation, blood tests, and medicines through a health camp organised by Anvarat Foundation, in collaboration with Samuday by HCL Foundation

Supported by the Aarogya Mobile Health Clinic Van, the initiative brought quality healthcare closer to those who need it most reflecting Anvarat Foundation’s mission to ensure equal, inclusive, and dignified access to healthcare for rural communities.

Our Surbhi Girls volunteered with dedication, assisting in registrations and community coordination, demonstrating youth-led ownership in building healthier villages.

This is the first step in a series of quarterly health camps planned across Hardoi.
