Let The Blind To Hold The Torch. RSVI is already into providing assistance to :

1. Providing legal services to the visually impaired.

Production center of reading materials in accessible formats, such as Braille Books, audio Books and E-texts in daisy format.

2. Distribution of Educational, Recreational and Other Aids & Appliances for the visually impaired.

3. Circulation of recorded and Braille text books, competition books, Hindi and English classics and magazines through its recorded and Braille books library.

4. Knocking

the doors of judiciary for interpretation and implementation of state and central government policies through its advocacy cell.

5. Providing teachers training (DSEVI) to prepare teachers for the visually impaired children.

7. Providing computer training, typing, short hand Braille training.

8. Imparts Coaching and Training to the visually impaired for competitive exams and runs personality development programs.

9. Framing and implementation of policies for the welfare of the visually impaired.

10. Developing of Training Programs and modules for the visually impaired and their teachers.

11. Development and distribution of accessible technology including screen reading application in Indian languages at affordable cost.

12. Organizing workshops, seminars and awareness programmes with a view to sharing of experiences technologies, accomplishments and skills of visually impaired and evolving a better world, vision and attitude in the society.

13. Implementing of persons with disabilities act of 1995 through various notifications of state and central governments and suggesting of amendments therein.

14. Getting the benefits of community based rehabilitation project and inclusive education program for the rural blind.

15. Special Centers for women empowerment, old age care homes, research and analysis centers for better employment opportunities for the target group.
