🐾 From a maggot-infested wound to freedom again. ❤️🐶

A few weeks ago, we found Pikachu with a severe wound on his upper back, infested with maggots. He was in pain and needed immediate help.

We brought him to our shelter, where he received medical treatment, wound care, food, safety and lots of love. ❤️

Day by day, Pikachu got stronger. His wound healed, his energy returned, and finally, he was ready for the moment we had been waiting for going back home. 🥹🐾

We took Pikachu back to the place where we found him and released him into his familiar territory. Watching him happily explore his area again was a moment we will never forget. ❤️

Rescue. Treat. Heal. Release. Repeat. 🐾

Every animal deserves a chance to heal and live freely.

SHAMBHU IS FINALLY HOME! 🥹❤️🐾

From a painful wound heavily infested with maggots to being completely healthy and free again, Shambhu has come a long way. ❤️‍🩹

When we first rescued him, Shambhu was old, in pain and not eating properly. His wound on the upper neck needed immediate treatment and care.

But today, 13 September, we are happy to share the best update possible! ❤️

✨ His wounds are completely healed.
✨ He is healthy and fit.
✨ He is eating and doing well.

✨ And today, we finally released him back to his familiar location.

We took Shambhu back to Shambhavi, the local animal volunteer who first informed us about him and helped make his rescue possible.

And the most beautiful moment? 🥹❤️ Shambhu immediately recognised his location!

Seeing him back where he belongs, healthy and free, is the reason we do what we do. 🐕❤️

From Rescue ➡️ Treatment ➡️ Recovery ➡️ Freedom 🐾
Happy life, Shambhu! We will always remember you. ❤️

🚨 URGENT: ATTACKED, MOLESTED & THREATENED FOR FEEDING STRAY ANIMALS IN LUCKNOW | NO FIR YET! 🚨

Meet Shambhu. 🐾❤️

A few days ago, we received a call from Shambhavi, a local animal volunteer, about an injured dog who had entered her house.

His condition was heartbreaking. He had a severe wound on his upper neck, heavily infested with maggots. He is also an old boy and was clearly in a lot of pain.

Shambhavi safely locked the doors so that he could be rescued without running away. Unfortunately, because of heavy waterlogging around our shelter, our team couldn't reach the location ourselves. So we arranged for someone to rescue him and bring him safely to our shelter.

Once Shambhu arrived, we offered him food, but because of his age, pain and condition, he hasn't been eating regularly.

We've now started his treatment and medication to control the maggot infestation and help his wound heal. ❤️‍🩹

This is just the beginning of Shambhu's journey.

We'll keep you updated on his recovery. Please keep this old boy in your prayers. 🐕❤️

If you'd like to support Shambhu and the other animals in our care, your help means everything to us.

Nandi Ji Rescued from Tar | 5-Hour Rescue & Recovery 🐂❤️

Nandi Ji was found completely covered in hot tar (asphalt). The tar had stuck so badly to his body that it had even obstructed his urinary passage.

After several unsuccessful attempts to rescue him, local students and Nagar Panchayat staff finally helped us safely catch him.

Many people suggested using diesel or petrol to remove the tar, but these can be extremely harmful to animals. Instead, we carefully used mustard oil and worked continuously for nearly 5–6 hours to remove the tar from his body.

After the rescue, Nandi Ji received proper treatment and necessary medicines. Two days later, he was seen again, and thankfully, his condition was much better. The remaining tar gradually came off as he licked his body, while the affected skin and wounds are slowly healing. ❤️‍🩹

🙏 Please never use petrol, diesel, mobil oil or turpentine oil on animals. If you find an animal stuck in tar or have wounds, contact an animal rescue team or veterinarian and seek professional help.

One life saved is one life that matters. 🐂❤️
