“Prayavaran Pragya Series of Events” can be this – Pragya Foundation has been an institution of national repute since 1999, working as a think tank for sensitizing, bringing in awareness among common people on national and global issues, through events, talks, debates and various publications. Pragya has found the need for working on LiFE, as announced by our Hon’ble Prime Minister during
Glasgow COP Summit, under the C-20 India dimension of G-20 that is taking place in India, this year. “Paryavaran Pragya” is a series of events, that will have dialogues on development, lifestyle for Environment and Green energy generation that are in harmony with nature and will draw Civil Societies, SHGs, individuals, groups, NGOs and other academic & non-academic institutions working in or wanting to work in such domains like environment, ecology, sustainability, pollution abetment and restoration. Net zero emissions is a holistic idea that implies comprehensive cleaning of all the elements of the environment. In terms of Indian philosophy, it requires to restore the native conditions of ‘PanchMahabhootas’ or the five gross elements that make the cosmos, and make the life possible on the planet. Sankhya Yog, the ancient Indian philosophy propagated by Rishi Kapila, says that purusha (self, soul & mind) is not independent of prakriti (nature), and thus LiFE is the modern-day interpretation of the same fact. The Indian way of life has revolved around environmental protection since the Vedic times. Vedas hold that man should breathe pure air, drink pure water and eat pure food. Paryavaran Pragya is a natural extension of our ancient wisdom that looks to strengthen the thought process for a living that benefits the environment. All the events, talks, debates, symposium or publications under Paryavaran Pragya shall be focused upon these underlying principles of Vaidic Science and LiFE.
