Like zillion other things, it's sadly a privilege in this nation to be able to choose law as a career option. Because, the marginalized communities have no real access to quality legal education since they lack awareness about law as a career, or they lack the funds to join a coaching institute/finance their studies/even buy the CLAT application form. The IDIA (Increasing Diversity by Increasing A

ccess to Legal Education) is a nationwide movement that was initiated to reach out to these marginalized groups, sensitize them to law as a viable career option and help interested students acquire admission to the top law schools. Shamnad Basheer, the project runs on the backbone of student volunteers spread through the length and breadth of India.
