With your generous support, essential items like kitchen utensils, clothes, and food supplies have been provided in good quantity. At present, there is no further requirement for these items.

Now, the focus has shifted towards rehabilitation — helping affected individuals restart their livelihoods (such as rickshaws, carts, small shops, etc.) so they can stand on their own feet again.
While we are closing the earlier appeal, this new phase of support continues.

A new Model Community Center was inaugurated in Amberganj, Lucknow by Zakat and Charitable Foundation (ZCF) to promote Skill development among girls and women.
The center will offer courses in Sewing, Mehndi Design, and Spoken English. The inauguration was attended by Miss Shaheen Islam, Mr. Mujtaba, Mr. Naiyar Iqbal Khan, and Mrs. Tabassum Qadwai.

Mrs. Zeba (Widow), once skilled in Chikan work, was going through a very difficult phase in life. But with timely support under Zakat & Charitable Foundation’s Self-Employment Scheme, her journey took a new turn.

Taking this initiative forward, 4 more beneficiaries were supported today with Plastic Household Goods to help them start their own small businesses and improve their financial stability.

A New Model Community Center of Zakat and Charitable Foundation Inaugurated in Lucknow

A new Model Community Center was inaugurated in Amberganj, Lucknow by Zakat & Charitable Zakat and Charitable Foundation (ZCF) to promote Skill development among girls and women.

A Certificate Distribution Ceremony was organized at Model Community Center, Akbari Gate, Lucknow, run by Zakat and Charitable Foundation (ZCF).

A total of 56 girls who successfully completed 3 Month in Sewing & Embroidery, Mehndi Design, Spoken English, and Basic Computer were awarded certificates. The program witnessed the presence of students and their guardians.

Chief Guest appreciated ZCF’s efforts in empowering girls through skill development and encouraging them toward self-reliance and confidence.
Speaking on the occasion, Mohammad Shahid from ZCF said that the foundation is currently running three Model Community Centers in Lucknow and plans to expand to more locations with additional courses to help more women gain skills and connect with livelihood opportunities.
