Urgent Help Needed: Sudipta Roy in ICU
Dear Friends,
Many of you kindly supported Sudipta Roy, our fellow Citizens for Lucknow group member, during his cancer treatment earlier this year. We're deeply grateful for your generosity then—and we now write to you again with a heavy heart.
Sudipta’s condition has worsened significantly over the past week. He is now in the ICU at Medanta Hospital, Lucknow, and has been placed on a ventilator. His cancer has progressed to an advanced stage, and he is battling for his life. His sister admitted him, but the financial burden of critical care is overwhelming.
Sudipta has been fighting metastatic colorectal cancer since 2021, enduring 46 cycles of chemotherapy, multiple hospitalizations, and severe complications—always with quiet courage and dignity. He lives alone and has no financial support system.
We humbly ask for your help again to support his ICU and hospitalization costs during this critical time.
