IEEE WIE IEEE SCET Student Branch presents CREA-TECH, in collaboration with IEEE MIT-ADT Student Branch IEEE MIT-ADT Student Branch Woman in Engineering Affinity Group, IEEE Student Branch, Nirma University, IEEE BVM SB, IEEE MIT-ADT Student Branch, IEEE SCET SB, IEEE Student Branch DA-IICT and WIE - IEEE Gujarat Section successfully organized a power-packed and insightful online event titled "Crea-Tech: When Creativity Meets Technology", aimed at bringing together students, faculties, and tech enthusiasts to explore the powerful intersection of Artificial Intelligence, creative thinking, and women empowerment.

Crea-Tech was curated to promote AI fluency, creative expression, and technological awareness, especially among youth and aspiring women technologists. Through this event, we aimed to explore how creativity can amplify the reach of emerging technologies and drive social good.

Round 1: “Know the New Age Tech” – Technical Quiz
A high-energy quiz round designed to test participants' knowledge of:
Advanced AI tools: ChatGPT, DALL·E, AlphaFold, Whisper, MAI-DxO

Through Round 1 Participants demonstrated impressive knowledge and awareness of modern AI trends, which set the stage for the creative round.

Round 2: “Express with AI” – Prompt-Based Creative Competition
Participants used AI tools like RunwayML, Pictory, Canva, and ElevenLabs to generate 1-minute videos on the following prompts:

1. Empowerment & Education: Encouraging women to pursue careers in cybersecurity

2. Digital Education & Literacy: AI’s role in enhancing global digital access

Impactful Outcomes of the session like

Sparked interdisciplinary conversations around AI for social good

Highlighted women empowerment through tech-driven initiatives

Introduced participants to advanced tools & real-world applications

The event stands as a shining example of how IEEE WIE empowers students—especially women—to become leaders in tech by embracing creativity, ethics, and innovation.

Empowering Future Changemakers through STEAM & Sustainability!

On 4th July 2025, the IEEE MIT-ADT Student Branch conducted a special Guidance Session for students of Classes 8 to 10 at MIT Vishwashanti Gurukul World School, Loni Kalbhor, Pune.

This interactive initiative focused on “Technologies for Environment, Climate Change, Sustainability, and Natural Disasters” — sparking curiosity and awareness among young minds through a hands-on STEAM-based approach.

🧠 The goal was not only to introduce tech and innovation but also to inspire action aligned with the United Nations 17 Sustainable Development Goals (UN SDGs) Specially

IEEE MIT-ADT Student Branch Women in Engineering Affinity Group in collaboration with IEEE MIT-ADT Student Branch organized the event "Building Mobile Apps Using Al". It was led by guest speaker Mrs.
Archana Kumari, who provided an engaging overview of how Al is reshaping mobile app development. It began with an overview of the essential technical requirements, such as implementing authentication and designing user-friendly login screens. The discussion then addressed common challenges faced by new developers, including understanding app structure, managing user interfaces, and navigating development tools. A detailed walkthrough of the Google Play Console was provided, highlighting its role in app publishing and performance tracking. She walked participants through real code examples from Android projects, such as a movie app and a To-Do app, using Java and Jetpack Compose, while showcasing the capabilities of GitHub Copilot and Google Gemini in enhancing code quality, speeding up development, and simplifying tasks like UI design and authentication setup. The session concluded with an interactive Q&A segment, where Archana addressed participant queries, clarified technical doubts, and shared practical insights, making the learning experience more personalized and impactful.
