Building Confident, Resilient, and Future-Ready Children
At SAMPARC, we believe that every child deserves opportunities that extend beyond classroom learning. Our commitment is to ensure the holistic development of every child by equipping them with the skills, values, and confidence needed to navigate future challenges and thrive in society.
Each year, during the summer vacation, SAMPARC facilitates participation in specialized residential training programmes that nurture essential life skills, including:
• Discipline
• Time management
• Self-reliance
• Leadership
• Teamwork
• Confidence-building
• Decision-making under pressure
• Physical and mental resilience
These qualities are fundamental to shaping responsible, capable, and independent individuals.
In addition to the various summer camps and enrichment activities conducted across all SAMPARC centres, this year four children from SAMPARC Balgram Bhaje participated in a seven-day residential training programme at the Bhonsala Military School, while two higher education students successfully completed a fifteen-day adventure and mountaineering camp at the prestigious Himalayan Mountaineering Institute.
The HMI camp provided a unique opportunity for our students to interact with young participants from different parts of the country, broadening their perspectives and strengthening their social and leadership skills. For the two students travelling to Darjeeling, the journey itself became especially memorable, as they experienced air travel for the very first time.
Upon their return, we witnessed remarkable changes in both groups, including greater confidence, improved communication skills, stronger self-belief, and a renewed sense of purpose. They enthusiastically shared their experiences and learnings with other children at the centre, inspiring their peers to dream bigger and embrace new opportunities.
These programmes are not merely training sessions—they are life-changing experiences that empower children to step out of their comfort zones, discover their potential, and prepare for the future.
We extend our heartfelt gratitude to Mr. Abhijeet Marathe Sir, Ms. Suhas Marathe Madam, their family members, and friends for generously supporting this initiative by covering travel expenses, training fees, and all associated costs.
