🌿🧼 SLOGAN WRITING COMPETITION – SWACHHATA CAMPAIGN 🧼🌿

A successful Slogan Writing Competition was conducted during the 1st week of Swachhata Campaign with active participation from Scouts. 👥✨

📝 Participants created short, impactful slogans on cleanliness, hygiene, waste management, and clean railway premises in Hindi, English, and Bengali. 🌍🗣️

🏆 Entries were judged on creativity, relevance, clarity, and impact. The competition showcased excellent awareness and innovative ideas for a cleaner environment. 🌱🚆

Vivekananda Scout Group, Liluah District Association successfully conducted a Group Level Testing Camp for Cubs and Scouts on 12th April 2026. 🏕️📅
A total of 29 Cubs and 35 Scouts appeared for the examinations across various standards. 📋👦👦 All candidates participated with great enthusiasm and demonstrated their best efforts throughout the testing process. 💪✨
The camp was conducted smoothly and efficiently with the sincere dedication and support of the Leaders of Vivekananda Scout Group, who ensured that the examinations were carried out in accordance with the proper methods and spirit of Scouting. 🤝🎖️
It is hoped that all candidates have performed well and will successfully qualify for their respective standard examinations. 🌟🏆

🌱♻️ "Zero Waste Management" ♻️🌱

Liluah District Association, ERBS&G organised a Community Development Project on Zero Waste Management ♻️ on 16th March 2026 📅 at Liluah Railway Colony 🏘️.

The programme was inaugurated by our District Chief Commissioner & WPO/LLH, Sri. Dhavane Sanket Gokul 👨‍💼, in the presence of District Secretary & AEN/WS, Sri. Ramesh Chaudhary 👨‍💼.

On the inauguration day, Scouts and Guides members 🧭 organised a route march 🚶‍♂️🚶‍♀️ and street drama 🎭 to create awareness among the residents of the Railway Colony about the importance of Zero Waste Management ♻️ and the need to adopt proper waste management practices 🗑️ in daily life.

A total of 120 uniformed Scouts and Guides members 🧑‍🤝‍🧑🧭 of the Liluah District Association participated in the programme. The event began with the flag-off 🚩 of the awareness rally by our District Chief Commissioner & WPO/LLH, Sri. Dhavane Sanket Gokul 👨‍💼.

Following the flag-off, the members conducted a route march 🚶‍♂️🚶‍♀️ through the Railway Colony quarters area 🏘️, spreading awareness messages 📢 among the residents.

At the central location of Liluah Railway Colony 📍, Scouts and Guides members performed a street drama 🎭 highlighting the importance of waste segregation ♻️, cleanliness 🧹, and responsible waste disposal practices 🗑️.
This community awareness project 🌍 will continue for the next three months 📆, with the objective of encouraging residents of the Railway Colony to maintain proper waste management practices ♻️ and contribute towards a clean and sustainable environment 🌱🌏.

Vivekananda Scout Group successfully celebrated Thinking Day on 22nd February 2026 with great enthusiasm and true Scout spirit. 🎉⚜️

The day commemorated the birthdays of Lord Baden-Powell and Lady Baden-Powell, the founders of the Scout and Guide Movement. 🌍✨

World Thinking Day 2026 theme was "Our Friendship", celebrating 100 years of global unity, and connection. 🤝💙 Observed annually on 22nd February, this special centennial theme focused on strengthening bonds across borders, cultures, and generations, while reflecting on the core values of the movement. 🌎🌟

Today's programme witnessed active and cheerful participation from Cubs, Scouts, Rovers, Leaders, and Guardians. Around 110 participants were actively involved in the day's events. 👏😊 The celebration was organised to promote unity, teamwork, discipline, and the true spirit of Scouting. ⚜️🔥

• Cup & Spoon Race 🥄

🧑‍🦱 For Scouts:
• Hop Race 🏃
• Sack Race 🏃‍♂️

All participants maintained discipline and displayed excellent sportsmanship and team spirit throughout the activities. 💪👏 Prizes were awarded to the 1st, 2nd, and 3rd position holders in each game, encouraging healthy competition and active participation. 🥇🥈🥉

Programme was successfully completed with the wholehearted support and cooperation of Leaders and Guardians. 🙏💐 The enthusiasm and joyful participation of everyone made the celebration truly memorable. 🎊💖

Vivekananda Scout Group, Liluah District Association, conducted a heartfelt farewell ceremony in honour of our beloved Shankar Da (Sri. Shankar Raksh*t). 🌿

A dedicated Cub Master, Assistant District Secretary, and a true pillar of Liluah District Association, his commitment, hard work, and selfless service have left an enduring impact on all of us.

Though he has retired from Railway Service, he never retires from Scouting, his guidance, values, and inspiration will continue to light our path.

We extend our warmest wishes to Shankar Da and his family for a joyful, healthy, and fulfilling life ahead. 🙏✨

As part of the 125th Year Celebrations of Carriage & Wagon Workshop, Liluah.

ERWWO in collaboration with Scouts & Guides, Liluah District Association is organizing a "Cloth Donation Drive" to extend warmth and support to the underprivileged.

🛍️ Contribute your clean, gently used clothes and help bring comfort to those in need.

📍 Donation Centre : Lawn near Cycle Stand.
📅 Duration : From 10 to 20 December, 2025.
⏰ Timings : 10:00 AM to 5:00 PM.
