We are delighted to share that Chakma Mahila Samiti enthusiastically participated in the Maiden NCC Mega Event & NCC Alumni Interaction held at Thuamluaia Mual, Lunglei, proudly showcasing the rich Chakma traditional culture through our handloom, traditional attire, handicrafts, food and beverages.
It was truly a wonderful opportunity to represent and promote our heritage among people from different places and communities. We also feel honoured to have had the opportunity to interact with the Hon’ble Chief Minister of Mizoram, Pu Lalduhoma, during the event.
We extend our heartfelt gratitude to the Central MCSU, The MCSU Lunglei Zone and the wonderful women fraternity of Lunglei for their immense support, care and cooperation throughout the program. Your encouragement, hospitality and helping hands made our participation more meaningful and memorable.
Grateful for the experience, encouragement and the platform to celebrate our culture with pride and unity. ❤️

We are pleased to share that the CMS Awareness Tour on Women Empowerment has officially commenced today. This tour will cover various villages from 24th March to 8th April 2026, aiming to spread awareness on women’s rights, health, education, and empowerment for a better tomorrow.
