RecNit Kurukshetra Alumni This page is exclusive to the alumni of Regional College of Engineering and the current National Institute in the holy city of Kurukshetra, Haryana India.

RECNITKA - This stands for RECNIT Kurukshetra Alumni. This is the main page for RECNITKA on Facebook and we have accordingly created a group which we call the global group and everyone who is an alumni should be part of the group and then we have International Chapters and Local National Chapters. Mr & Mrs. Gurkirpal Sandhu from 1966 batch visited Mumbai and a small welcome was hosted by RecNit Kurukshetra Alumni on 5th August, 2026 and attended by his batchmates Mr & Mrs. Kapil, Rakesh Kumar Marya, 1980 Batch Mr. & Mrs. Rajesh Gianchandani, 1981 Batchmates Mr. & Mrs. Prakash Ingole & Harinder Salwan, 1982 Batch Mr. & Mrs. Dharam Pal Gupta, 1993 batch Munish Paikara. As a ritual Sandhu, Kapil, Rajesh & Munish were capped with RECNITKA Caps and Mr. Gurkirpal Sandhu was honoured with the RECNITKA Distinguished Alumnus Award 2026 for his contribution to the RECNITKA Global Musical Mehfil.

On 6th August, 2026 Mr. Rakesh Marya hosted a small gathering at his house and Mr. & Mrs. Harinder Salwan joined and we celebrated the friendship of the two 1966 batchmates who met after 55 odd years after college for the first time and the son and daughter of Mr. Marya took care of all the alumni and families.

The 1965 batchmates of RECK, had a great gathering on 25th April 2026 afternoon at DSOI Dhaula Kuan. Thirteen of the friends were present. Eight of the friends brought their wives alongwith. They celebrated the birthday of their batchmate Sh. Vinod Kumar Gupta. They missed the presence of their NCR friends who could have joined but could not ☹️.
