The youth in the GTA region feel frustrated due to lack of genuine political representation, ineffective leadership, and unaddressed local issues. They perceive politics as dominated by older leaders, with their voices sidelined and promises unmet. This breeds disillusionment and a demand for transparent, accountable, and youth-inclusive politics that addresses employment, education, and identity concerns. Their frustration stems from feeling ignored and disconnected from decision-making platforms meant to serve them.

We are advancing the voice of the people, emphasizing youth issues, voice, and rights in the GTA region. The strong participation of youth will ensure the development of our land.

In Nepal, Gen Z and millennials are out on the streets, loudly questioning corruption and holding leaders accountable — a sign of genuine political maturity. Meanwhile, in the Darjeeling and Kalimpong hills, the same age group seems stuck between two hobbies: scrolling endlessly on Instagram reels or chasing after whichever party promises the loudest slogans. While their peers in Nepal are shaking power structures, our ‘digital revolutionaries’ here are too busy perfecting filters and hashtags. Who needs activism when you can repost someone else’s rant and call it a day?
