A Milestone in Inclusive Education
The National Association for the Blind (NAB), Himachal State Branch (Kullu) proudly celebrates a milestone in its journey towards accessible and inclusive education. In the academic session 2025-26, out of 29 students, 16 students successfully appeared for their annual examinations independently, with Baby (Class V) and Disha Bharti (Class III) achieving the remarkable feat of appearing for their board examinations using laptops independently.

This achievement reflects the power of accessible technology, dedicated efforts, and meaningful partnerships Bookshare.org a project of Benetech and Ek Kadam Aur Foundation for Education and Health, in providing accessible digital learning resources.

At NAB Himachal State Branch, we believe that independence begins with opportunity. Every step towards accessible education brings us closer to a future where every learner can participate, achieve, and thrive with confidence.

🌟 Free Online Hindi Typing Course for Persons with Visual Impairment 🌟

National Association for the Blind (NAB), Himachal Pradesh State Branch is organizing a Free Online Hindi Typing Course exclusively for Persons with Visual Impairment (VI).

📅 Training Period: 20th July 2026 – 9th August 2026
💻 Mode: Online
🎯 Eligibility: Persons with Visual Impairment

The training will be conducted in multiple batches of 7 days each within the above period.

Whether you’re a student, job seeker, or professional, learning Hindi typing can help improve your digital skills and open up new educational and employment opportunities.

Our children from NAB HP State Branch participated in Group Song, Filmi Song, and Folk Song events at Kala Kendra and made us immensely proud. We are thrilled to celebrate their Second Prize in the Group Song competition. 🏆
