Strengthening frontline healthcare for early childhood development!

Samphia Foundation, in collaboration with the National Health Mission under the Rashtriya Bal Swasthya Karyakram (RBSK) and the District Early Intervention Centre (DEIC), Regional Hospital Kullu, conducted a one-day capacity-building workshop at PHC Naggar for ASHA Workers and Community Health Officers (CHOs).

The workshop brought together 29 participants and focused on the early identification of developmental delays and disabilities, developmental milestones, timely referrals, and family counselling through interactive, case-based learning.

By empowering frontline health workers with practical knowledge and skills, we are strengthening early detection and ensuring that every child has access to timely support and intervention.

Together, we are building healthier, more inclusive communities—one child at a time.

Building Capacity for Early Identification of Developmental Delays & Disabilities

Samphia Foundation conducted a one-day capacity-building workshop for ASHA Workers and Community Health Officers (CHOs) on the early identification of developmental delays and disabilities in children.

The workshop brought together 50 participants and focused on developmental milestones, early screening, timely referrals, and family counselling through interactive, case-based learning.

Empowering frontline health workers to identify developmental concerns early and ensure timely support for every child. 💙

Today, Team Samphia is conducting an interactive workshop with ASHA and health workers on the early identification of children with disabilities at Raison
