Srot Rural Education and Development Foundation A Sec-8 NonProfit Organisation working in the field of educational support and training. Srot - the source, that which marks the emergence of a new dawn.

At Srot, we aim to offer holistic education to children in the Tirthan Valley, so that they may
grow-up to be intellectually, emotionally and financially independent individuals contributing
positively to their communities. Towards this objective, we have been offering academic support, mentorship support and
scholarship support to children with whom we work at the centre. Srot focuses on the e

ducation of children and youth, helping them broaden their horizons,
guiding them through their circumstances and helping them imagine a positive future. We
emphasise that Inquiry, Discovery, Application and Integration are all necessary to fully and
successfully learn and know anything from engineering and physical sciences to philosophy
and metaphysics. The Rural Education and Development (R.E.A.D) project has been functional in the Tirthan
Valley since July 2020. In December 2021, Srot Rural Education and Development Foundation
was registered as a Section 8 NPO and the project formally became the R.E.A.D Project. We run 3 programmes under this project - After school programme, Comprehensive Support Programme and Adult Support Programme

Samiksha volunteered with us for more than a month.

You became a friend and a teacher to our kids so easily. The kids learnt so much from you. Whether it was Maths, Science, English or designing a treasure hunt for the kids, you aced at everything.

Every time it's been the teachers' responsibility to keep their classes interesting and fun for their students. It's time that they also get to have fun while learning new classroom tools and strategies.

The first phase of the teacher training workshop at Little Feet School was wrapped up with a certificate distribution ceremony, celebrating the commitment and effort of every teacher who participated.

The feedback has been incredibly encouraging, reflecting both learning and growth.

The first phase of the teacher training workshop has successfully concluded.

On the last day of the workshop, gifts were distributed among all the teachers and two of them got the 'Best Teacher' awards. The lessons delivered by all the teachers were so amazing, that it was hard to choose just one.

Looking forward to seeing the learnings come alive in the new academic term. 😀
