*WORLD ENVIRONMENT DAY : CLEANLINESS DRIVE HELD BY J&K BS&G GANDERBAL* .
Ganderbal (05 June 2024) :- J&K Bharat Scouts and Guides District Ganderbal conducted a cleanliness drive from DH Ganderbal to DC office to mark the celebration of World Environment Day.
The drive was started by Rovers , Scouts and members in which awareness was spread among the local public to reduce the use of Non Biodegradable polymers (POLYTHENE) and plastic for the contribution towards conservation of environment and the plastic free district Ganderbal.
Also shopkeepers were requested to stop the use of polythene bags and usage of jute or paper bags instead of these harmful polymers.
In this occasion Umar Aziz (District Secretary) , Shoiab Maqbool (District9 Treasurer) , Sakib Basir (Asst. Organising Commissioner) , Owais Mushtaq (Headquarter Commissioner) , Talha Hussain (Group Scouter) , Musaib Bashir (Chairperson DYC) , Usman (Rover) , Salman (Rover) , Irfan (Rover Leader) and some members of Himayat (J&K) were present.
We are strictly opposing the degradation of environment caused by the human race in this era and shall join hands togather to save the environment , we at J&K BS&G GBL will continue to work for the betterment of our district as well as UT in all aspects said Sakib Bashir (Asst Organising Commissioner).
