Membership: Membership is open to all men and women between the age group of 18 and 40.. JCI History: JCI was founded in Mexico City on December 11, 1944, when representatives from eight nations met to create an organization that would address global concerns. From these eight nations, JCI has grown spanning every continent to include more than 100 nations. JCI World Headquarters: The JCI World Headquarters was established in 1951 and was located in Coral Gables, Florida, U.S.A., since 1969. In 2002, the JCI World Headquarters was relocated to Chesterfield, St. Louis, Missouri, U.S.A., where the first local organization was founded in 1918. A professional staff of 23 full-time employees provides services to JCI members. International Cooperation: JCI is an international Non-Governmental Organization (NGO) with active participation in the United Nations (UN) system. In this context, JCI has relations with the Office of the UN Secretary General (Secretariat) and a Consultative Status with the Economic and Social Council (ECOSOC).

Day 4 of JCI Week was marked by a diverse array of events aimed at engaging, celebrating, and empowering the youth of Calicut. From recognizing student achievements and conducting valuable surveys to providing career guidance and fostering open dialogue, the day's activities underscored our commitment to supporting and understanding the younger generation. The addition of the awareness talk further emphasized our dedication to promoting youth empowerment and community involvement.

ഓരോ ദിവസവും, ഒട്ടനവധി വ്യക്തികളാണ് വൃക്ക തകരാറുമായി പൊരുതിജീവിക്കുന്നത്, അവർക്ക് ആവശ്യമായ ഡയാലിസിസ് ചികിത്സയുടെ ചിലവുപോലും താങ്ങാനാവാത്തവരാണ് ഇതിലധികവും. സന്മനസ്സുകൾ നടത്തുന്ന സൗജന്യ സെന്ററുകളിൽ ഊഴം കാത്തുനിക്കുകയല്ലാതെ ഇവർക്ക് വേറെ വഴിയില്ല.
കാരണം നിലവിലുള്ള ഉപകരണങ്ങളിൽ ചെയ്യാവുന്ന ഡയാലിസിസ് വളരെ പരിമിതമാണ്.എന്നാൽ നമ്മൾ ഒരുമിച്ചു നിന്നാൽ ഇതിനൊരു മാറ്റം വരുത്താം. അതാണ് ടീ ഫോർ ലൈഫ് (Teaforlife) ജെ സി ഐ കാലിക്കറ്റിൻറെ ഓൺലൈൻ ചാരിറ്റി കാമ്പെയ്ൻ ആണിത്.

ഞങ്ങളുടെ ദൗത്യം ലളിതമാണ്: ഇത്തരം രോഗികൾക്കുവേണ്ടി ഡയാലിസിസ് മെഷീനുകൾ നൽകുക, കുറേ ലക്ഷങ്ങൾ ചിലവുള്ള കാര്യമാണ്, പക്ഷെ നമ്മൾ ഒരുമിച്ച് നിന്നാൽ സാധ്യമാവും. 1 വർഷത്തേക്ക് എല്ലാ ദിവസവും ഒരു ചായയുടെ (₹10) ചിലവ്, അതായത്, അങ്ങനെ ഈ വർഷം 3650 രൂപ നമ്മളോരോരുത്തരും മാറ്റിവെച്ചാൽ ചിലപ്പോൾ ഒരുപാട് പേർ ജീവിതത്തിലേക്ക് തിരിച്ചുവരും. അതാണ് “TEA FOR LIFE – A YEAR OF GIVING” By JCI Calicut.
