Kabani - the other direction KABANI The Other Direction is a non-profit entity, working and campaigning against the negative impact of tourism on local communities and their resources.

We are working towards a better tourism model in India, which finds its basis in the local people, focussing on the socio-economic security and sustainability of the place. We are carrying out research, campaigns, advocacy, lobbying, networking and training activities to promote sustainability in the context of tourism and development.
