NAPS started by a group of Sivan fans around Thirunakkara temple who wanted to do something for his welfare as well as extend their help to other things in their reach. Gajajesari Thirunakkara Sivan has the scope of being one of the best elephant in Kerala if properly looked after. NAPS feel that ,we as residence of nakkarakunnu ,its our duty to see that all this is taken care off. The purpose is
not to obtain any position or power but purely aimed at the welfare of one of the most beautiful Kerala Elephants There are lots of things which needs attention and if we stand as a group soon Gajakesari Thirunakkara Sivan will be one of the top names in Kerala. കൊച്ചുക്കൊമ്പൻനെയും വിശ്വനാഥന്നെയും ശിവനെയും കണ്ടു വളര്ന്ന നക്കരകാർക്ക് ആനപ്രേമത്തിൽ ഒരു പിടി മുന്നില് തന്നെയാ .ആന എന്നാ രണ്ടു അക്ഷരങ്ങൾ കൊണ്ട് ഉണ്ടായ കൂട്ടയ്ന്മ ആണ് നക്കരകുന്നു ആന പ്രേമിസംഗം NAPS .ആന അന്നും ഇന്നും നക്കരകാർക്ക് ഒരു ഹരം തന്നെ ആയിരുന്നു 2007-ൽ സാക്ഷാൽ ഗുരുവായൂര് പത്മനാഭൻ തെചികൊട്ടുകാവ് രാമചന്ദ്രൻ എന്നിവരുടെ നേതൃത്ത്തിൽ അണിനിരന്ന 22 ആനകൾ തിരുനക്കര പൂരത്തിന് തുടക്കം കുറിച്ചു.ഇന്ന് കേരളത്തിലെ പ്രധാന പൂരങ്ങളിൽ ഒന്നായ തിരുനക്കര പൂരത്തിൽ സ്ഥാനം കിട്ടാൻ ഗജവീരന്മാർ മത്സരിക്കുന്ന അവസ്ഥയാണ് .ആനയെ സ്നേഹിക്കുന ആനയെ ആരാധിക്കുന്ന എല്ലാ നല്ലവരായ ജനങ്ങളെയും ആന പ്രന്താൻമാരെയും ഈ കൊച്ചു കൂട്ടായ്മയിലേക്ക് സ്വാഗതം ചെയ്യുന്നു .
