The Rationale
In these days of sick hurry and divided aims, life is not a Cakewalk, a bed of roses for anyone. Yet a sizeable section of our species, including us, have been compensated with blessings galore-good health, material prosperity, recreational facilities, intellectual pursuits, social life and all. Our Heavenly Creator wants us to thank Him for all these blessings not through mere lip s

ervice, but through love and compassion for our less privileged brethren. Ardra
Etymologically derived from the Sanskrit word Ardra-Ardram in Malayalam, the name means compassion, fellow-feeling or sorrow for the sufferings of another. Ardra strives to help the poor and needy by providing primary necessities, education, medical care, job-training, marriage
assistance, employment etc. This charitable society derives its inspiration from our Lord whose compassion towards suffering humanity was boundless. The One who loved us with an everlasting love has often called upon us to translate our love and pity into deeds, into meaningful gestures. The Society
Formed in 2001, Ardra is under the direct patronage of H.H. Baselios Marthoma Paulose II, Catholicos of the East and Malankara Metropolitan. Ardra is a non-profit Charitable organisation operating throughout India. The Aim
Ardra aims to work for the educational, social, cultural, spiritual and economic advancement of the marginalised people of India irrespective of caste, creed or community. Contributions
All contributions made to Ardra will be eligible for exemption under Section 80G of the Income Tax Act. Ardra is recognised as a registered entity with the Office of the Registrar of Companies, Ministry of Corporate Affairs under the Government of India, for undertaking CSR activities.

നൻമയുടെ സന്ദേശം പകർന്ന് ആർദ്ര ചാരിറ്റബിൾ സൊസൈറ്റി രജത ജൂബിലിക്ക് സമാപനം

കോട്ടയം : മലങ്കരസഭയുടെ ക്രിസ്തീയ ദൗത്യത്തിൽ ആർദ്രയുടെ സേവനം മഹത്തരമാണെന്ന് സഭാധ്യക്ഷനും മലങ്കര മെത്രാപ്പോലീത്തായുമായ പരിശുദ്ധ ബസേലിയോസ് മാർത്തോമ്മാ മാത്യൂസ് തൃതീയൻ കാതോലിക്കാ ബാവാ. മലങ്കരസഭയുടെ സേവന വിഭാഗമായ ആർദ്ര ചാരിറ്റബിൾ സൊസൈറ്റിയുടെ രജത ജൂബിലി സമാപന സമ്മേളനം ദേവലോകം കാതോലിക്കേറ്റ് അരമനയിൽ ഉദ്ഘാടനം ചെയ്ത് സംസാരിക്കുകയായിരുന്നു സഭാധ്യക്ഷൻ. സമ്പന്നരും ദരിദ്രരും തമ്മിലുള്ള അന്തരം പെരുകുന്ന പുതിയ കാലത്ത് അശരണരായ കൂടുതൽ ആളുകളിലേക്ക് എത്താൻ ആർദ്രയ്ക്ക് കഴിയട്ടെയെന്ന് ബാവാ ആശംസിച്ചു. ആർദ്ര പ്രസിഡന്റ് ഡോ.ഏബ്രഹാം മാർ സെറാഫിം മെത്രാപ്പോലീത്താ അധ്യക്ഷത വഹിച്ചു. ആഹാരം, പാർപ്പിടം, വിദ്യാഭ്യാസം, ചികിത്സാ തുടങ്ങിയ മേഖലകളിൽ നിസ്തുലമായ സംഭാവനകൾ നൽകാൻ കഴിഞ്ഞ 25 വർഷത്തിനുള്ളിൽ ആർദ്രയ്ക്ക് കഴിഞ്ഞതായി അദ്ദേഹം പറഞ്ഞു. റിട്ട.ജസ്റ്റിസ് ബെഞ്ചമിൻ കോശി മുഖ്യസന്ദേശം നൽകി.

ആർദ്രയുടെ മുൻ ഭാരവാഹികളായ പ്രൊഫ എം.സി ജോസഫ്, റോയ് മാത്യു മുത്തൂറ്റ്, ജോൺസൺ കീപ്പള്ളിൽ യോഗത്തിൽ ആദരിച്ചു. ആർദ്ര സെക്രട്ടറിയായി സേവനം അനുഷ്ഠിച്ച മുൻ എം.പി തോമസ് കുതിരവട്ടത്തിനുള്ള മരണാനന്തര ബഹുമതി മകൻ ജൂനി തോമസ് കുതിരവട്ടം ഏറ്റുവാങ്ങി. രജത ജൂബിലിയുടെ ഭാഗമായി ആർദ്രയുടെ നേതൃത്വത്തിൽ പൂർത്തീകരിച്ച ആറ് ഭവനങ്ങളുടെ താക്കോൽദാന കർമ്മം നിയുക്ത എംഎൽഎ തിരുവഞ്ചൂർ രാധാകൃഷ്ണൻ ഡോ.യൂഹാനോൻ മാർ ദീയസ്ക്കോറോസ് മെത്രാപ്പോലീത്താ എന്നിവർ ചേർന്ന് നിർവഹിച്ചു. പഠനത്തിൽ മികവ് തെളിയിച്ച കുട്ടികൾക്കുള്ള വിവിധ സ്ക്കോളർഷിപ്പുകൾ സമ്മേളനത്തിൽ വിതരണം ചെയ്തു. അസോസിയേഷൻ സെക്രട്ടറി അഡ്വ.ബിജു ഉമ്മൻ, ദേവലോകം അരമന മാനേജർ യാക്കോബ് റമ്പാൻ, ആർദ്ര സെക്രട്ടറി ജോസഫ് അലക്സാണ്ടർ, രജത ജൂബിലി ജനറൽ കൺവീനർ ഫാ. കെ.വൈ വിൽസൺ, ട്രഷറാർ റോയ് തോമസ് എന്നിവർ സംസാരിച്ചു.
