Men Against Dowry is a secular non political social movement against the plague of dowry. We feel that men have to be taught that dowry is not their right, but that it is a social evil which affects women and their families. Women are mistreated, tormented and even killed over dowry. A change in mindset is enough to bring about a small change. This change can cause a ripple effect and make people realize that dowry isn't a social custom but an injustice against women and society as a whole.
