കേരള ഗവ. നഴ്സസ് അസ്സോസിയേഷൻ കേരളത്തിലെ ഗവ. നഴ്സസിന്റെ ഉന്നമനങ്ങൾക്കായിട്ടും അവകാശങ്ങൾ നേടിയെടുക്കുവാനും നീതി നിഷേധങ്ങൾക്കും എതിരേയും തൊഴിൽ ചൂഷണങ്ങൾക്കെതിരേയും ശബ്ദമുയർത്തിക്കൊണ്ട് 1957 ൽ രൂപികരിച്ച കാറ്റഗറി സംഘടനയാണ്.രൂപികരിച്ചവർഷം തൊട്ട് KGNA നേടിയെടുത്ത നിരവധി കാര്യങ്ങൾ ഇന്നും നിസ്തുലമായി സർവ്വീസിൽ നിലനില്ക്കുന്നു. കേരളത്തിലെ സർക്കാർ മേഖലയിലെ 95% നഴ്സുമാരുടെ ശക്തമായ സംഘടനയാണ് KGNA. നേടിയെടുത്ത ഓരോ കാര്യങ്ങളും സംഘടനയുടെ പൊൻ തൂവലായി ഇന്നും നിലനില്ക്കുന്നു.
