Arya Vaidya Sala Kottakkal organises a two-day National Conference, organized as part of the Centre of Excellence Project in cancer Research funded by Ministry of Ayush, Government of India , aims to bridge classical Ayurvedic concepts with modern clinical validation, fostering dialogue among researchers, clinicians, and academicians working at the forefront of integrative oncology.

Expected Delegates: Ayush Professionals (BAMS/MD), Research Scholars (Ayurveda/Life sciences/Pharmacy), PG Scholars (Ayurveda/Life sciences/Pharmacy.

A Medicinal Tree Sapling Distribution Program (Ek Ped Ma Ke Naam) was conducted at AUPS Chemmala, Pulamanthole, Malappuram as a part of the project funded by NMPB RCFC Southern Region. About 600 saplings of Asoka (Saraca asoca) and Palakappayyana (Oroxylum indicum) were distributed to Students. In connection with 10th Ayurveda Day Celebrations 2025, Centre for Medicinal Plants Research, Arya Vaidya Sala Kottakkal organises a one day seminar on 'Ayurveda for Universal Healthcare' on 19 September 2025 as a part of the project funded by National Medicinal Plants Board.
Dr. Manoj Kumar N, Vice Principal & HoD, Dept. of Dravyagunavijnana, VPSV Ayurveda College, Kottakkal will deliver a lecture on 'Vrikshayurveda'.
Dr. Sulaiman CT, Senior Scientist, Phytochemistry Division, CMPR will deliver a lecture on 'Research in Ayurveda'.
The event will be inaugurated by Dr. P M Varier, Managing Trustee, Arya Vaidya Sala, Kottakkal at 2.30 pm in presence of Sri Harikumar, CEO, Arya Vaidya Sala, Kottakkal and Dr. Indira Balachandran, Project Director, CMPR.

In a bid to tackle early-age heart attacks, Kottakkal Arya Vaidya Sala is partnering with All India Institute of Medical Sciences (AIIMS), New Delhi, to develop innovative treatments.

Centre for Medicinal Plants Research (CMPR), has joined forces with AIIMS to develop phytomedicines derived from medicinal plants for the management of early cardiovascular ageing, an emerging area of scientific interest.

CMPR senior scientist Dr. Sulaiman C.T. and AIIMS additional professor Dinu S. Chandran jointly formulated the research plan. Arya Vaidya Sala has also tied up with the Indian Institute of Technology (IIT) Madras to pursue similar research initiatives with a clinical perspective.
