Coffee culture begins with curiosity.
At Café Kellar Cafe Kellar the flagship coffee shop of Madhu Agro Plantation Raji Reddy in Sabbavaram, we supported an introductory coffee tasting session that took participants on a journey from instant coffee and chicory blend to commercial Arabica–Robusta blend and, finally, specialty lots from the plantation.
Led by Ajay G. Redij Ajay G Redij , with Chef Rachit Chef Rachit Kirteeman and Anshuman Rath OCC supporting the session, the tasting introduced participants to the bean-to-cup journey and the basics of coffee cupping — helping them understand, taste and differentiate coffee based on quality.
For KDF, consumer outreach, awareness and education are an important part of building the market for quality coffee. A stronger coffee culture creates greater appreciation for quality and, ultimately, stronger market opportunities for the coffee growers of Odisha.
