ছেলেটির নাম বিকাশ মালিক, বয়স মাত্র ৫ বছর। তাঁর বাবা শ্রী তাপস মালিক। তাঁদের বাড়ি হুগলি জেলার তারকেশ্বরের নালিকুল গ্রামে। অত্যন্ত দরিদ্র পরিবারের এই শিশুটি ছোট থেকেই বিরল স্নায়ুরোগে আক্রান্ত হয়। পরবর্তীতে সেই সংক্রমিত তার মেরুদণ্ডে ছড়িয়ে পড়ে। ফলে ছোটবেলা থেকেই সে নিজে থেকে দাঁড়াতে বা বসতে পারে না ৷
বিকাশের বাবা শ্রী তাপস মালিক সামাজিক মাধ্যমে Purnimalay Foundation এর কার্যক্রম দেখে আমাদের সঙ্গে যোগাযোগ করেন এবং ছেলের চিকিৎসার জন্য সাহায্যের আবেদন জানান। বিষয়টি বিবেচনা করে আমরা আমাদের সাধ্য অনুযায়ী শিশুটির চিকিৎসার জন্য কিছু আর্থিক সহায়তা তাঁর পরিবারের হাতে তুলে দিতে পেরে আমরা সত্যিই আনন্দিত।
পূর্ণিমালয় ফাউন্ডেশন-এর পক্ষ থেকে সকল শুভানুধ্যায়ী ও সহযোগীদের জানাই আন্তরিক কৃতজ্ঞতা ও অসংখ্য ধন্যবাদ। আপনাদের সহযোগিতা ও মানবিক সাহায্য আমাদের এমন অসহায় মানুষের পাশে দাঁড়ানোর শক্তি ও অনুপ্রেরণা জোগায়। আমরা আশা করি, ভবিষ্যতেও আপনাদের ভালোবাসা ও সহযোগিতা আমাদের সঙ্গে থাকবেন৷
