One dot. Many voices. Shared dignity.
As we close the Red Dot campaign this Menstrual Hygiene Day, we look back at a day that brought together 411 participants across 4 sessions in Sunderban and Baruipur through Kusum Katha. What stood out was the collective effort — our Loksakha Welfare Society team showing up on the ground and in solidarity through the Red Dot, communities coming together for awareness sessions, distribution of sanitary napkins and nutritious food, and even stepping out into public spaces through a 2 km rally in Kalidaspur.

When invited to share their needs and commitments, participants spoke clearly — asking for access to pads, clean toilets, safe disposal, and stronger school support, while also committing to break silence, speak openly, and support one another without shame. These voices tell us that change is already underway — and what is needed now is for systems to match that momentum.
A heartfelt thank you to our Loksakha Welfare Society team, partners, frontline workers, and every participant who engaged with such openness and conviction. This campaign may conclude, but every red dot and every written promise moves us forward.
