A Thalassemia Awareness & Carrier Testing Camp was organised at Ramakrishna Sarada Mission, Siriti, on September 25, 2026, where 103 students participated in the carrier screening initiative.
Sri Sanjib Acharya, Hon’ble Secretary, Serum Thalassemia Prevention Federation, and CMD, SERUM Group, was present at the programme, emphasising the importance of awareness, carrier screening and prevention among the younger generation.
