Ek Tara works with children and women from impoverished families with a vision to provide high-quality holistic education to enable community transformation. Starting with just 20 beneficiaries Ek Tara now have over 1300 children and women as a part of its programmes mainly centered around quality education and skill development . All beneficiaries including those in the vocational training unit have access to support initiatives on health, hygiene, nutrition and skill building opportunities.

​Our Mobile School classrooms lit up with energy this week as students tackled hands-on collaborative challenges. By putting their heads together, listening actively, and sharing bold ideas, they discovered firsthand that we can solve just about anything when we work as one team.

Our young readers explored 'What I Want' by Pratham Books (.books), a beautiful story that helped them think about freedom, dreams and the kind of India they wish to see. 📚😻

Alongside discussions of freedom, in an activity our young reader quoted "Play is my freedom", it might look simple right!? 😉

But hidden within this simplicity was a powerful reminder that independence is not only about a nation’s journey but it also is about creating a world where every child can dream without limits.☝🏼📈

Here at Ek Tara, we continue to raise not just successful children but free thinkers who are not just capable individuals but compassionate citizens.😊

With less than 50% of mothers in India practicing exclusive breastfeeding due to myths and lack of information, reaching mothers directly with correct knowledge is key to building healthier futures.
