🌸 Because every girl deserves to know her worth and her health 🌸
Last week, Fingers Crossed Foundation had the privilege of spending a truly special evening with 40+ incredible young girls aged 8–16 at the Calcutta Orphanage, Shyambazar, Kolkata and our hearts are still full.
To create awareness around World Menstrual Hygiene Day, celebrated every year on 28th May, we conducted a workshop to raise awareness around menstrual health and the importance of sanitary pads - because knowledge is the most powerful thing we can give a young girl.
Our star volunteer led the session with such warmth and care, while fun games filled the room with laughter. Snacks & chocolates were shared, smiles were exchanged, and by the end of it, something quietly beautiful had happened, these young girls felt seen, heard, and informed 🌸
The Orphanage's appreciation meant the world to us. But the real reward? The light in those little eyes.
None of this would have been possible without YOU - our supporters, our silent pillars, our believers.
A heartfelt thank you to our wonderful volunteers for walking that extra mile and showing up in person and an equally warm thank you to every single person who supported us quietly from behind the scenes.
Your contribution brought real smiles to real faces 🙏
Together, we are making a difference - one girl at a time 🌸
