Leadership, resilience, balance, and a powerful life mantra: “Give to Gain.”
The Calcutta Management Association celebrated Women’s Day with a special edition of CMA CARING MINDS Conversation 360 Conversation 360 at The Saturday Club, Kolkata — an evening of inspiring conversations, leadership insights, and meaningful reflections.
We were honoured to host Madhumita Basu, Former Chief Strategy, Marketing & Innovation Officer at Nuvoco Vistas Corp. Ltd. and Former President of CMA, who shared her remarkable journey as one of the few women leading sales in traditionally male-dominated industries such as cement and batteries.
In an engaging conversation with Sohini Gooptu, Treasurer CMA she spoke about resilience, leadership, balancing professional and personal life, and the importance of prioritizing health while pursuing excellence.
A powerful message that resonated throughout the evening was her guiding principle: “Give to Gain.”
The session was inaugurated by Indranil Banerjee ,President CMA and concluded with a vote of thanks by Vibhor Tandon ,VP,CMA.
Celebrating Women’s Day with both men and women in the room made the conversation even more meaningful — reinforcing that true empowerment and inclusive growth come when everyone participates in the journey.
