Day 2 | First-Aid Service⛑️ at Babughat
Bharat Scouts and Guides, West Calcutta continued their dedicated first-aid service at Babughat for the Ganga Sagar Mela pilgrims. Our trained Scouts and Guides remained on duty, providing timely assistance, care, and support to devotees throughout the day with discipline and compassion ⚜️
A special highlight of the day was the visit of our DCC Dr. Avinash Kr. Gupta, who came to the camp to extend his moral support to the team🫡. He interacted warmly with the Guides⚜️, appreciated their dedication, and had an encouraging conversation that boosted the morale of our young volunteers. His presence inspired the Guides to continue their service with renewed energy and confidence.⚜️🫡🎖
Throughout the day, the team assisted elderly pilgrims, treated minor injuries, managed cases of exhaustion and dehydration, and helped devotees find their way safely. Working in coordination with fellow volunteers and service organizations, our Scouts and Guides demonstrated patience, responsibility, and compassion under demanding conditions.

Bharat Scouts and Guides, West Calcutta proudly joined the Manav Jyoti First - Aid Camp at Babughat during the Ganga Sagar Mela.
*DAY - 1 OF FIRST-AID SERVICE CAMP*
Our dedicated Scouts and Guides rendered 12-hours voluntary service, providing first aid, care, and support to thousands of devotees.
With a true spirit of service, discipline, and compassion, our Scouts and Guides stood firm throughout the day, assisting the elderly, supporting the unwell, and ensuring safety and comfort for all pilgrims. Their selfless commitment reflects the core values of the Bharat Scouts and Guides — “Service Before Self.”
We extend our heartfelt appreciation to Manav Jyoti for the collaboration and to our Scouts & Guides for their tireless efforts in serving humanity during this grand religious gathering.
