It kept biting her face but she chose to keep fighting!

In Odisha’s Mayurbhanj, as over 30 schoolchildren sat outside, a venomous snake crept dangerously close. Before anyone could react, a stray dog named Kali leapt in.

The snake struck her face again and again, injecting venom with every bite, but Kali didn’t retreat. She held her ground, fighting relentlessly until the snake was killed and every single child was out of danger.

By the time silence returned, the poison had already taken over. Kali collapsed giving up her life in the very moment she saved theirs.

The village that once called her a stray carried her as a saviour, bidding farewell with tears, respect, and the weight of a sacrifice they’ll never forget.

She had no name, no home, no reason to stay. Yet when it mattered most, she chose to protect.

Resilience beats every challenge🙏

Savita Pradhan, who grew up in extreme poverty and suffered years of domestic abuse, has become an IAS officer after clearing UPSC in her first attempt. Married at just 16, she faced violence, humiliation and neglect from her husband and in-laws while raising two children.

Savita said she was often beaten in front of her children and treated inhumanely at home. At one point, she even considered ending her life, but later left her abusive marriage and decided to rebuild her future. To support herself and her children, she worked in a salon and gave tuition classes while continuing her studies.

Her hard work finally paid off when she cleared the civil services examination in her very first attempt and became an IAS officer. Today, her story is inspiring thousands of women across the country who are facing violence, poverty and hopelessness.

From sweeping floors to shaping destinies, Pratiksha Tondwalkar’s life reads like a story written by courage itself.

She was born in Pune to parents who struggled to make ends meet. Before she could even understand her own dreams, life rushed her into responsibilities. At just 16, she was married. Schoolbooks were replaced with household duties. Education — the door she had barely touched — was shut too soon.

By the age of 20, fate struck again. She was widowed, holding a small child in her arms and a future filled with uncertainty. Society looked at her with pity. Circumstances tried to label her as helpless.

But Pratiksha refused to accept that label.

To feed her son and survive with dignity, she took a job as a sweeper at a Mumbai branch of State Bank of India. Every morning, she cleaned floors others walked on. She dusted desks where decisions were made. Her salary was small, but her spirit was unbreakable.

While the world slept, she studied.

After long days of physical labour, she opened books at night — tired eyes, aching body, but a mind burning with hope. Page by page, she reclaimed what life had once taken away. That determination led her to earn a degree in psychology — not as a privilege, but as a victory.

Slowly, quietly, change began.

Her dedication was noticed.
From sweeper to clerk.
From clerk to officer.
From officer to leadership.

Each promotion carried the weight of years of struggle, tears, and resilience.

During this journey, life gave her a partner who believed in her when it mattered the most. Her second husband, Pramod Tondwalkar, stood beside her — encouraging her to prepare for banking exams, supporting her ambitions, and sharing the responsibility of raising their children. For the first time, her dreams were not carried alone.

Step by step, she rose — not by shortcuts, but by strength.

And one day, the same institution where she once cleaned floors entrusted her with leadership. Pratiksha Tondwalkar rose to become CGM and ultimately Assistant General Manager of SBI — a position of authority, respect, and responsibility.

Her journey proves something powerful:

No work is small.
No beginning is weak.
No destiny is fixed.

Sometimes, the hands that clean the floor today are the ones that lead tomorrow.

Pratiksha didn’t just change her life —
she redefined what courage looks like.

At 67, President Droupadi Murmu creates history yet again, becoming the first Indian President to take a sortie in a Rafale, India’s cutting-edge fighter jet.

Taking off from Ambala Air Force Station in Haryana with Air Chief Marshal A.P. Singh, she witnessed the Rafale’s precision and agility that define India’s aerial strength.

As the Supreme Commander of the Armed Forces, this flight wasn’t just ceremonial. It was a message — that leadership isn’t about watching from the ground, but rising above the clouds.

From flying a Sukhoi-30 MKI over the Brahmaputra last year to now soaring in a Rafale, President Murmu continues to embody quiet courage, calm strength, and unshakable resolve.

Her journey from a small tribal village in Odisha to the cockpit of India’s most advanced jet captures the story of modern India itself: bold, resilient, and unstoppable.

🌊 She can’t hear the noise of the crowd,
but she can feel the silence of the sea.

At just 13 Jiya Rai, a para swimmer with autism, swam 34 km across the English Channel in 14 hours and 25 minutes, becoming the world’s youngest and fastest para swimmer to ever do it.

No shortcuts.
No excuses.
Only sheer willpower and waves.

Born with Autism Spectrum Disorder, Jiya didn’t just cross the Channel—
she crossed every limit society put on her.

From the Palk Strait to the English Channel,
she’s rewriting history, one stroke at a time.

💙 She’s not chasing medals.
She’s swimming for autism awareness, for inclusion, for every child told “you can’t.”

📢 Let’s make sure the world hears her story—louder than any tide.

(Jiya Rai, para swimmer, open water champion, Indian youth achiever, and autism advocate, is proving that disability is no barrier to greatness. Her journey stands as a beacon of hope in para sports, women in athletics, and inclusive swimming)

Salute to G Madhavi Latha 🙏🙏

Salute to G Madhavi Latha 🙏🙏

Gali Madhavi Latha’s journey at the Indian Institute of Science (IISc) began in 2004, where she faced significant gender-based challenges, including the absence of essential facilities like women’s toilets.

As the first female faculty member at IISc and an alumna of IIT Madras, she has made a remarkable impact in engineering, most notably for her pivotal role in the construction of the Chenab Bridge in Jammu and Kashmir — the highest railway bridge in the world.

Her expertise in geotechnical engineering is rooted in her belief that soils behave much like humans, responding differently to various stress conditions.

Throughout her career, she has carried out extensive fieldwork, visiting diverse project sites and encountering subtle, often well-meaning but patronizing biases from colleagues.

She notes that these biases are usually unintentional, arising from a lack of awareness.

Madhavi’s unwavering commitment was evident in the Chenab Bridge project, where she worked countless sleepless nights to ensure success.

The bridge, part of the Udhampur-Srinagar-Baramulla Rail Link (USBRL) project, rises 359 meters above the Chenab River and was engineered to withstand the region’s extreme geological and climatic conditions — making it one of India’s most complex engineering marvels.

For Madhavi, seeing her innovative designs come to life is deeply fulfilling, proving that the challenges of a scientific career are indeed worth every effort.
