On this International Labour Day, we bow our heads in reverence to the true architects of society — the labourers. From the relentless strength of construction workers to the tireless efforts of domestic helpers, from the brilliance of educators and scientists to the persistence of farmers and factory workers — every form of labour shapes the world we live in.

Let us not forget that behind every towering structure, every harvested field, every clean corridor, and every thriving institution, there are hands that have worked with integrity, sacrifice, and resilience.
