Ashokegarh west Sabedabagan Sarbojanin Saraswati Puja Committee Welcome to Ashokegarh(west) Sabedabagan Sarbojanin Saraswati Puja Committee's Official FB page.We starts our journey from 2005. The Puja started from 2005.

This was the 1st Saraswati Puja in the area of West Part of Ashokegarh(known as 'Sabedabagan'). The history goes back around 200 years back when these prominent North Suburban Kolkata localities were marshy land and hardly any sign of human habitation.Due to the proximity of Dakhineswar temple people started settling down in that locality. Around planned development works in the form of filling up

marshy land and forming road and places for human habitation was created Family started settling down.And the area is known as Ashokegarh. The committee was formed. The Puja started to happen at the Heart of Sabedabagan,near a old shiv mandir. With the time a committee was formed to organize the Saraswati puja,which is known as ASHOKEGARH(WEST) SABEDABAGAN SARBOJANIN SARASWATI PUJA COMMITTEE. In 2014, we are completing a Decade(10 years).
