We have a large family of rescued dogs and cats, who needed 'Mystic Animal Home' a dedicated sanctuary on the outskirts of Kolkata. This perhaps will be an evolving story for next 2-3 years, but the first step has been humbly and prayerfully taken. I take this opportunity to thank all those whose love for animals has enabled this home and we will need ongoing community support for sustainability and development. Do we really need to get used to living with physical discomfort? Is chronic pain in the body symptomatic of certain seed tendencies in the mind? Can Yogasana help us manage pain better? Over the years I have observed, once people overcome their initial resistance to being on the yoga mat, their lives tend to change. The more regularly and carefully one practices, there is that integration of body-mind. This union releases healing energy increasing ones happiness quotient and quality of life. Living with any kind of ni**le may cause irritability, and an easy body to certain degree will instantaneously translate into ease of mind. The right view is to see postural Yoga as meditation-in-motion: and the surest way to merge body-breath-mind. Experience being alive in a totally different light: embrace Yoga letting go of inertia and dullness. Accepting Yoga is rejoicing in life - discarding stubbornness and monotony.
