Qari Ahmer Foundation (QAF) has been established to commemorate an impeccable, learned blind scholar Qari Anwarul Haque Ahmer Lucknavi to promote Literacy, Secularism, Pluralism, Multiculturalism and to resource under privileged youths for capitalizing employment opportunities. Qari Saheb was renowned knowledgeable theologian of Islam ,spritual guide , linguist and a poet from Lucknow. He had tre
mendous command over Arabic , Persian and Urdu Languages. Born on 6th March 1933. Nadan Mahal Lucknow , graduated from Madarsa Furqania in Hifz , Maulviat and in Education with Specialization in Arabic Phonology. In 1961 migrated to Calcutta and settled here for three decades , left this world on 6th December 1995 in Lucknow. He is resting in peace in Aish Bagh, Lucknow and has been followed by more than five thousand students across the globe.
