The first nourishment a child receives can shape a lifetime of health.

As part of Breastfeeding Week, a community awareness camp was organised at Mukundapur village under Panpur-Keutia Gram Panchayat, with the support of Exide Care CSR.

The session encouraged pregnant women and mothers to learn about:
🤱 Early initiation of breastfeeding
🍼 Exclusive breastfeeding for the first six months
❤️ Appropriate infant feeding practices

A video featuring mothers' experiences also sparked meaningful discussions, helping strengthen awareness and confidence within the community.

When knowledge is shared, healthier beginnings become possible for every child.

What message about breastfeeding do you think every new parent should hear?

Every child deserves the opportunity to grow up in a safe and supportive environment.

On World Day Against Trafficking in Persons, MANT participated in a community awareness programme under the National Campaign Against Child Trafficking in Bankura, West Bengal, engaging community members in conversations on child protection, child marriage prevention, and the importance of creating safer communities for children.

Awareness, education, and community participation can help reduce children's vulnerability and strengthen local support systems.

A national conversation becomes meaningful when it reaches communities.

Representatives from 782 districts participated in the National Consultation, "Ensuring Child Rights, Potential and Prosperity," in New Delhi, sharing experiences and strengthening collaboration around child protection.

As part of the National Campaign Against Child Trafficking organised by Just Rights for Children network, MANT participated in the consultation and later organised community awareness activities in Bankura, West Bengal, promoting discussions on child protection, child marriage prevention, and community responsibility.

Building safer environments for children begins with informed communities and collective participation.

Every child should have the chance to choose their future—not have it chosen by fear, exploitation, or harmful practices.

On World Day Against Trafficking in Persons, we are reminded that protecting children begins long before a crisis. Strong families, informed communities, access to education, and preventing child marriage all help create safer environments where children can thrive.

Awareness is one of the most powerful forms of prevention.

Their fight was for more than land—it was for dignity, identity, and the right to live with self-respect.

On Hul Diwas, we pay tribute to the courage of the Santal heroes who launched the historic Hul Uprising of 1855 against British rule. Their unity, sacrifice, and determination continue to inspire generations.

As we remember this remarkable chapter of India's history, let us also reaffirm our commitment to preserving indigenous heritage, respecting tribal communities, and recognising their invaluable contribution to our nation.

Their legacy lives on—in every voice that stands for justice and every community that protects its identity.
