On 11th April 2026, RC New Ballygunge organised বর্ষ শেষের আড্ডা at Raya Debnath Hall, Rammohun-library Kolkata with RC Calcutta Dalhausie & RC Calcutta East Central. Vocational Excellence Award was presented to PP Jyotish Roy for his immense contribution in Film and Associated Industry and Rotary Service Activities. The Adda was with Jyotish Chandra Roy on the theme Golden Era of Bengali Films. Mostly film Songs from that era and recitations were performed by Rotarians. DG Dr. Ramendu Homchaudhuri and first lady Dr. Bandana Homchaudhuri alongwith District Officials were present.

The Interact Club of The Future Foundation School (affiliated with the Rotary Club of New Ballygunge) organized an Essay Competition on Shri Aurobindo to commemorate the eve of Independence Day as well as the birth anniversary of Shri Aurobindo.

Students of The Future Foundation School (TFFS) and Aurokul not only participated in the competition but also presented colourful cultural performances, adding vibrancy to the celebration.

The winning participants were felicitated and awarded at the Aurokul Campus, Uttarbhag, Baruipur.

As part of the club’s community service initiative, 50 blankets were distributed among members of the local community, reflecting Rotary’s enduring commitment to service above self.

Our Club celebrated 79th Independence Day with Primary School Children and their Guardians at our RCC Mirpur Rural Centre. We also handed over essential toiletries to the inmates of the Old Age Home there. There was a drawing competition for the students, where we gave 1st, 2nd & 3rd Awards. On 11th July 2025, Rotary Club of New Ballygunge formally handed over the Charter of their sponsored Interact Club of The Future Foundation School at their School Meeting Hall where more than 50+ students joined the Club as Interactors. Our Club Members presented the Collar, Hammer and Gavel and alongwith the School authorities, gave the Lapel Pins to the President, Secretary and other Board Members in the Installation Ceremony.

On 5th July 2025, Rotary Club of New Ballygunge in collaboration with District 3291 Interact Council and in association with Kobita Club organised the Recognition Ceremony of the online Slogan Competition on Environment in Bengali at The Commune Hall. 20 Interactors from different Schools got the Recognition Certificates and 12 more Interactors received the Participation Certificates. 25 Members of Kobita Club were also awarded the Recognition Certificates.
