On 9th June 2025, GFLF in partnership with Innerwheel Club of Calcutta, (Metro Maidan), created their 3rd Miyawaki forest at AJC Bose Indian Botanic Garden, Shibpur, Howrah. The Miyawaki forest was inaugurated by Mrs.Mamta Gupta, International Innerwheel President, Mrs.Jyoti Mahipal, Associate President and Mrs.Adity Pasari, Innerwheel Metro Maidan President in the presence of Innerwheel Club members and other distinguished guests. A total of 1,010 native evergreen and fruit saplings were planted under the Urban Afforestation Project and supported by the Ministry Of Environment, Forest and Climate Change, Government of India.
