WE NO LONGER ACCEPT CLOTHES DONATIONS.

After years of receiving many bags of items in good condition at our community centers in Kolkata and Pune from local donors, unfortunately we also received an overwhelming amount of unusable scraps and trash which resulted in unnecessary and unaffordable expenses to our NGO.

Our primary focus has always been and continues to be education through our scholarships program and going forward we will focus our attention solely on collecting funds for our program expenses and items that specifically serve the needs of our students and their families.

Visits to our centers for monetary donations or for donating specific items previously approved by us are BY APPOINTMENT ONLY.

If you wish to donate clothes we suggest Goonj, a national NGO specializing in recycling and distribution of used clothes: www.goonj.org

November 2025 (Kolkata) - Regularly scheduled visits at the homes of children and their families living in slum communities who are enrolled in our scholarship program. Our teachers, tutors, volunteers, staff and directors meet face to face with the parents of our students, updating them on their progress, taking feedback and witnessing first-hand the harsh reality that they face on a daily basis as we bring solutions to their problems.
