🚨 Massive Raids Uncover Hidden Wealth of Former MP RTO Constable Saurabh Sharma.
Authorities, including Lokayukta, IT, and ED, raided the homes, offices, and associates of former MP RTO constable Saurabh Sharma and uncovered shocking hidden wealth. They found 52 Kg of gold with his associate, 234 Kg of silver hidden in his office, cash of over ₹14 crore, jewellery, vehicles, and properties worth crores. Over 500 documents, including wills, chequebooks, passbooks, and property papers, were also seized.
Sharma joined the transport department as a constable in 2016 after his father, a doctor, passed away. He allegedly controlled 23 transport check-posts and bought properties and businesses like a school and hotel in the names of his family and associates. He took voluntary retirement in 2023 even while a corruption inquiry was ongoing.
Despite multiple raids across Bhopal, Gwalior, and Jabalpur, Sharma remains on the run. His advocate claims that some of the wealth actually belongs to bureaucrats and politicians and that Sharma was made a scapegoat. Investigators say the evidence points to a major case of money laundering through benami properties, shell companies, and hidden assets.
This case reveals how a modest government salary of ₹28,000 per month can allegedly be turned into massive hidden wealth, exposing deep-rooted corruption in the system.
