|| AGOMONI: CALLING THE GODDESS HOME ||

📅Date: 17th September, 2025
📍Location: Royal Calcutta Golf Club, Tollygunge

The room was quiet - until it wasn't.
With each verse of Debjani Choudhury's evocative recitation, it felt as if Maa Durga herself was being welcomed into the space.

Then came the songs - two soul-stirring Durga Puja melodies sung by President Sanghamitra Shah and Treasurer Ananda Basu. For a moment, we were no longer in a meeting room; we were in the heart of Pujo - the rhythm of the dhaak, the scent of shiuli flowers, the anticipation of homecoming.

Laughter, smiles, and warm fellowship followed, wrapping up an evening that reminded us that Rotary is not just about service - it's about celebrating culture, community, and togetherness.

|| COTS 2025: CLUB OFFICER'S TRAINING SEMINAR ||

📅 Date: 17th September, 2025
📍 Location: Royal Calcutta Golf Club, Tollygunge

Fuel. Focus. Fellowship. That's what COTS 2025 gave us.

Inside the elegant private meeting room of RCGC, we turned an ordinary evening into a blueprint for an extraordinary Rotary year.
PDG Ajay Agarwal set the tone, showing how strong club administration can open doors to grants and bigger impact. He also celebrated Rajarshi Mitra for completing RLI Part 1 and 2 - proving that new energy and commitment keep the Rotary wheel spinning.
AG Ajay Agarwal then took us through a power-packed seminar on leadership, growth, and everything that makes a club thrive. PDG Ravi Sehgal wrapped up with a reminder that teamwork and public image are what make a club shine.

We left the room not just trained - but charged up, ready to turn plans into action.

📅 Date: 13th and 14th September, 2025
📍 Location: Sonar Bangla, Taki

Some weekends just hit differently - and this one was pure Rotary magic! ✨
Set against the serene backdrop of the Ichhamoti River, our very first President, Secretary, AG and ZS Meet of RID 3291 for 2025-26 brought together 125 passionate Rotarians for two days of learning, laughter, and limitless fellowship.

Representing Rotary Club of Calcutta Millennium, President Sanghamitra Shah and Treasurer Ananda Basu joined this memorable experience, carrying forward the club's spirit of active participation and leadership.

Two thought-provoking sessions by Rotary stalwarts PDG Ravi Sehgal, PDG Jhulan Basu, and DMC Debi Prosad Basu, gave us fresh perspectives on leadership and service. As the sun dipped, the evening turned into a celebration - Agomoni ushering in Durga Pujo, a spirited round of antakshari, and music that had everyone tapping their feet.
A heartfelt shoutout to DG Dr. Ramendu Homchaudhuri, Dr. Bandana Homchaudhuri, and the District team for curating an experience that was equal parts meaningful and magical.

|| INTERNATIONAL CLUB EXCHANGE: ENFIELD CHASE ROTARY ||

📅 Date: 25th September, 2025
📍 Location: Enfield Baptist Church, United Kingdom

Some mornings stay with you forever - like this one. At 7:30 a.m. sharp, over Earl Grey, toast, marmalade, and cheese, our club member, Rajarshi Mitra, represented the Rotary Club of Calcutta Millennium, and joined the warm and welcoming members of the Enfield Chase Rotary Club at the Enfield Baptist Church.

What struck him most wasn’t just the classic British breakfast, but the spirit of service at the table. The club is actively championing cancer relief initiatives, raising funds and awareness with unwavering dedication.

That morning, he also heard an unusual yet deeply moving talk - from a funeral director, who shared how compassion and care guide families through their hardest moments. A reminder that service comes in many forms.

It is inspiring to see how Rotary connects hearts and hands across borders. 🌍✨

Proud RCCM moment ✨

Our newest spark, Rajarshi Mitra, just completed RLI Part 2 - and came back not just with a certificate, but with stories, highlights, and encouragement for others to take the leap too.

In his words, RLI isn't just training - it's transformation. And that's exactly the spirit we celebrate at RCCM.

|| AGOMONI: VISWAYOGE SARATSANGE ||

📅 Date: 19th September, 2025
📍 Location: Rotary Sadan

When culture calls, we answer with heart. Rotary Club of Calcutta Millennium joined hands as an associate host club for Agomoni: Viswayoge Saratsange, masterfully organised by Rotary Club of Calcutta Harmony.

Our President, Sanghamitra Shah, stepped onto the stage not just as a leader, but as a performer - adding her voice to this tapestry of music, poetry, and devotion that welcomed Durga Pujo in true Bengali flair.

Gratitude to the beautiful planning by Rotary Harmony, and to every soul who made the hall vibrate - from poets at dawn to the artists painting the evening in sound. Because when we unite culture, service, art and Rotary, the result is something more than an event; it's a memory etched, a bridge built.

Another step forward in the journey of Rotary learning!

Our dedicated new member Rajarshi Mitra attended RLI Part II, hosted by the Rotary Club of Calcutta. The day was packed with 10 powerful sessions, covering everything from Club Communication and Effective Leadership to Team Building and Rotary Opportunities.

A special moment for us - our own PDG Ajay Agarwal delivered an impactful session on "Attracting Members", sharing practical insights to strengthen Rotary's growth.

The program brought together knowledge, leadership, and fellowship - building stronger Rotarians for stronger clubs.
