এই বছর পুজোয় উৎসবের আলো শুধু মণ্ডপেই নয়, ছড়িয়ে দেওয়া যাক প্রতিটি প্রবীণ মানুষের মনে।আনন্দ ভাগ করে নিন তাঁদের সাথে, যাঁরা আমাদের আশীর্বাদ ও ভালোবাসাতে ভরিয়ে দেন।

বাঙালির শ্রেষ্ঠ উৎসব দুর্গাপুজো আসতে আর মাত্র কিছুদিন বাকি। নতুন জামা-কাপড়ের গন্ধ, ঢাকের আওয়াজ আর আলোর রোশনাইয়ে মেতে উঠবে চারপাশ। কিন্তু আমাদের সমাজেই এমন অনেক প্রবীণ মানুষ আছেন, যাঁদের পুজো কাটে ভীষণ একাকীত্বে আর চরম অভাবে। নতুন পোশাক তো দূরের কথা, একটা ভালোবেসে দেওয়া হাসিমুখ দেখার ভাগ্যও অনেকের হয় না।

পুজোয় আসুন আমরা তাঁদের মুখে একটু হাসি ফোটাই। আমাদের সামান্য একটি উপহার—সেটি একটি নতুন শাড়ি, ধুতি, লুঙ্গি, গামছা বা গেঞ্জী হতে পারে— যেটি তাঁদের পুজোকে আনন্দময় করে তুলতে পারে। আর বিনিময়ে তাঁদের মন থেকে দেওয়া এক ফোঁটা পরম আশীর্বাদ আমাদের জীবনকে এবং আমাদের পুজোকে করে তুলবে প্রকৃত অর্থেই সমৃদ্ধ।'

নতুন জামার গন্ধে চারপাশ যখন পুজো পুজো আনন্দে মেতে ওঠে, তখন পাহাড়ঘেরা পুরুলিয়া, বাঁকুড়ার রুক্ষ মাটি, মুর্শিদাবাদের কোণ কিংবা সুন্দরবনের নদীভাঙা জনপদেও কিছু মানুষ বাস করেন, যাঁদের কাছে একটি নতুন জামা মানে সারা বছরের একটা বড় স্বপ্ন। বয়সের ভারে নুয়ে পড়া কোনো প্রবীণ মানুষ, জীবনের স্রোতে পিছিয়ে পড়া প্রান্তিক মানুষ, বিশেষ চাহিদাসম্পন্ন কোনো নিষ্পাপ শিশু কিংবা আদিবাসী পাড়ার ছোট্ট সোনা—তাঁরাও তো আমাদেরই আপনজন।

এবারের পুজো শুধু নিজের বা পরিবারের সুখের মধ্যে সীমাবদ্ধ রাখবেন না। ‘কলকাতা অঙ্গীকার’ সংস্থার সাথে হাত মিলিয়ে পুরুলিয়া, বাঁকুড়া, মুর্শিদাবাদ ও সুন্দরবনের এই বুকভরা আশা নিয়ে বসে থাকা মানুষগুলোর পাশে এসে দাঁড়ান। আপনার সামান্য একটুখানি সাহায্য হয়তো কোনো বৃদ্ধের শুকনো মুখে এক চিলতে স্বস্তি আনবে, কোনো অবুঝ শিশুর মলিন মুখে ফুটবে অমূল্য হাসি। তাঁদের চোখের সেই জল মোছানো আনন্দের আলো যখন আপনার জীবনে ফিরবে, তখন আপনার নিজের পুজোর আনন্দ ও তৃপ্তি হয়ে উঠবে দ্বিগুণ। আসুন, এই দুর্গোৎসবে সত্যিকারের মানবতার উৎসব পালন করি।

🌟 Bringing Digital World for Tribal Kids 🌟

"Technology is just a tool. In terms of getting the kids working together and motivating them, the teacher is the most important." – Bill Gates

At our Sahoj Path Tribal School in Kandi, Murshidabad, we have started a computer literacy program for tribal girls and boys. For many of these children, computers were once something they had never even seen—life was only about daily survival. Today, that story is changing.

With around 60 students—mostly girls, this initiative is not just about learning computers. It’s about empowering young minds, encouraging education among girls, and helping prevent challenges like child marriage in marginalized communities.
We believe that one of these children could become the future leader and change-maker of their society.

We are deeply grateful to Hyland Systems for supporting this noble cause by providing laptops and helping us take a step closer to digital inclusion.

A day filled with care, compassion, and community ❤️

We recently organized a medical camp at Kalapathar Junior High School, Purulia, in collaboration with Vivekananda Institute of Environment Management and Prabashik Foundation.

👨‍⚕️ Over 350+ tribal and marginalized people, including elderly individuals and children, attended the camp.
For many of them, this was the first medical check-up of their lives — a moment that truly touched our hearts.

The camp included:

General health check-ups
Dental examinations
Basic medical tests
Free medicines for all patients

🍱 We also arranged a small tiffin for everyone, ensuring no one left hungry.

🙏 We are deeply grateful to Swami Vedajnanda, President of Vivekananda Institute, who was personally present and worked alongside us throughout the camp. Your support inspires us, Swamiji.
