There is a growing need for nonprofit and non-governmental organizations (NGOs) throughout the world to be more effective and productive. Steps- The Way To Eutopia Society is a non - government development organization working on issues affecting the urban and rural poor. We are also raising the resources to protect the rights of India's elderly and provide relief to them through various intervent
ions. Steps aims to support the National Health Programmes in the prevention and control of diseases such as Leprosy, Tuberculosis, Malaria, Lymphatic filariasis, HIV/AIDS and Blindness. We are continuously growing and have gradually developing sustainable projects. Steps focuses health improvement activities in the community that are marginalized or poor, and tries to bring about positive changes in their life-style. Steps provide support services to the children afflicted with congenital defects, critical disorders, syndromes, and diseases that affect their health condition, education & growth. Treatment of congenital defects can be a huge drain on family finances, even for the relatively well off. Through whatever limited funds we have, we try to disburse medical aid to as many patients as possible. Plans are afoot to involve itself in many more projects by which it can contribute more meaningfully towards the upliftment of the downtrodden and revitalize the human spirit. The NGO continues to focus on key areas of Health, Education and Environment through its project involving children, women and senior citizens. Some one well said “give him a fish; you will feed him for a day! Teach Him How to fish; you will feed Him for Lifetime”.
