Yes, we're a business but we don't want to be a factory or an assembly line, we're hoping to be an open door, a welcome to live authentically as you grow your art. We're looking for a thousand ways to encourage you to sing and dance and draw and write...and we want to be a place where you can do that, online and in person, with other people...a community of creative activity and collaboration, a place where your story can belong.

Open Mic Night, hosted at 🎙️✨️ Free, on-spot registration- all you have to do is show up!

We're hosting an Open Mic Night this Thursday with at their gorgeous cafe space. Share a song, poem, comedy skit or story in front of the mic, bring your loved ones and enjoy an evening meal with a cold coffee and heartfelt performances in front of the mic.

We hosted at our space for our Poetry Therapy Workshop last Sunday, enjoying tea and snacks along the way, as we dive into poetry, our writing process and our shared reflections. ✒️

We will be taking a break in the month of June, but our next Poetry Therapy Workshop will be held later in July so we can't wait to host you for that. A huge thank you to Beth Caldwell for her continued support as a host and community member at Chaitown.✨

Join us for "Around The Table" this Saturday (16th May, 2026) at Chaitown Community. 🍽️✨

We hosted our first supper club evening in April, and we shared a truly special meal around Bengali cuisine for our first ever supper club evening. We had guests sharing their thoughts as well, on the kind of experience we provide.

This month, we're diving into Mexican cuisine and culture with a new chef to help us bring you that experience.

When we think of artists from Bengal, Tagore sets the precedent for multi-disciplinary excellence among the Bengali people. We've always been diverse, talented and multi-faceted here at Chaitown and his place in Bengal encourages us to collaborate, to create and ofcourse, to always look ahead.
