The 22nd Annual Zonal Youth Training Camp of Purba Bardhaman, Paschim Bardhaman, Birbhum, Bankura, and Purulia districts zone of the Mahamandal was held from 29 to 31 May 2026 at Dhanshimla Vidyabhavan, Dist. Bankura. Srimat Swami Amalatmanandaji, Secretary, Ramakrishna Mission, Somsar, and Srimat Swami Krittibasanandaji, Secretary, Ramakrishna Math and Ramakrishna Mission Sevashram, Bankura, jointly inaugurated the camp by hoisting the Mahamandal’s flag and addressed the campers at the inaugural session. Sri Amit Kumar Datta, General Secretary of the Mahamandal, and Sri Aravinda Ghosh, President of the Kuara Vivekananda Yuva Mahamandal, also spoke at this session. Sri Debabrata Mondal delivered the welcome address. This was followed by a sitar recital by Dr. Netai Bandopadhayay, accompanied on tabla by Pt. Somnath Nandi. The camp was attended by 401 youths.
In the second evening session, Sri Amit Kumar Datta delivered a speech on “Holy Mother Sarada Devi – The Love Personified.” This was followed by devotional and patriotic songs presented by Sri Saikat Bandopadhyay, Sri Partha Mishra, and Sri Arup Ratan Bhattacharya.
In the concluding evening session, Sri Abhijit Ghosh, Assistant General Secretary of the Mahamandal, delivered a speech on “Youths and Mahamandal.” This was followed by the valedictory session, which was chaired by Srimat Swami Bharupanandaji, Headmaster, Asansol Ramakrishna Mission High School, as Chief Guest; Sri Haradhan Samanta, Assistant Teacher of this school, as Special Guest; and Sri Ranjit Kumar Ghosh, Vice President of the Mahamandal, as President of the session. The campers shared their experiences and presented songs.
A book stall containing Ramakrishna–Vivekananda literature was set up at the camp. The evening sessions of the camp were open to all, and a large number of local people attended these sessions.
