**A New Chapter Begins... ☕❤️**

We are proud to share a historic milestone for **Able-Fable Foundation**.

On **22nd June 2026**, we signed a **Memorandum of Understanding (MoU)** with the **University of Calcutta**, under the flagship of the **Down Syndrome Research Unit**, to establish **Cafable** at two iconic locations:

📍 **Rakhal Da Canteen, College Street Campus**
📍 **Ballygunge Science College Campus**

For generations, **Rakhal Da Canteen** has been a place where friendships were built, ideas were exchanged, and countless memories were created. Today, this beloved space is set to become a symbol of inclusion, opportunity, and dignity.

**Cafable** is more than a café. It is a platform where young adults with **Intellectual and Developmental Disabilities (IDD), including persons with Down syndrome, Autism, and other developmental disabilities,** receive supported employment, and the opportunity to work with confidence in a real community setting.

Every cup of tea served, every snack prepared, and every smile shared will carry a powerful message—that ability matters more than disability.

This initiative reflects our belief that inclusion is not charity; it is about creating opportunities where everyone can contribute with dignity and pride.

We are deeply grateful to the **University of Calcutta**, especially **Prof. Ashutosh Ghosh, Hon'ble Vice-Chancellor**, **Prof. (Dr.) Debasis Das, Registrar**, and **Dr. Sujoy Ghosh**, for believing in this vision and opening the doors of the University to create meaningful employment opportunities for persons with Intellectual and Developmental Disabilities, including Autism and Down syndrome. Their trust, encouragement, and unwavering support have made this pioneering inclusive initiative a reality.

As we embark on this exciting journey, we invite our friends, well-wishers, alumni, institutions, and the wider community to walk alongside us. Together, we can create opportunities, change perceptions, and build a society where every individual has the chance to thrive.

If you would like to know more about Cafable or explore ways to support inclusive employment, please connect with us.

On World Down Syndrome Day, we come together against loneliness — because no one should feel left out.

Let’s move beyond labels. Don’t see the disability, see the person — their abilities, dreams, emotions, and unique identity.

Inclusion begins with connection, acceptance, and respect. A small step of kindness can make a big difference.

Together, let’s build a world where everyone belongs. 💛
