Focus- Forum of Communities United in Service An NGO working for the socio-economic development of slum population of Kolkata and Howrah

FOCUS has been working to serve the interest of people living in slums and shanties of Kolkata and Howrah for the last 26 years (since 1985) through community awareness generation, training on capacity building for bustee (slum) activists and functionaries of CBOs and their liaison with bank and NABARD for promotion of SHG, sanitation program, moving on to helping slum dwellers to start small businesses, then pre and post natal programs for 0-6 year old children.
