It was an immensely proud moment for us as our team member Renaissan was invited as a speaker to the IWG Global Summit on Women and Sport, held in Birmingham between 9th-11th July. This summit brought together around 900 delegates from 41 countries, all working to advance gender equity in women sports. The summit featured prominent faces, including the President of the International Olympic Committee.

She, alongside fellow innovators from Brazil, Pakistan and Somalia were representatives of the Advancing Olympism365 Innovation Hub, an initiative by the International Olympic Committee, Beyond Sports Foundation and Women Win. She was invited to talk about our initiative of empowering women with intellectual disabilities against gender-based violence through sports. As a speaker, she conducted an interactive workshop navigating the different challenges faced in sports and gender equality at the grassroot level.

We are very proud and happy that our grassroot-level initiative could be represented in the international stage, thereby advancing our aim of gender equity in sports.

Proud to witness the first swimming tournament for women para athletes in Eastern India. This event is more than a competition — it is a space for inclusion, visibility, and celebration.

Women para athletes often face double marginalization, and platforms like this help create room for their talent, strength, and resilience to shine.

Here’s to breaking barriers, building representation, and cheering every powerful stroke forward.

Pride is more than a month or a moment—it is an ongoing struggle for dignity, visibility, and equal rights for every LGBTQIA+ person. This Pride Month, CWF stands firmly with q***r and trans communities, calling out the healthcare gap and demanding safe, respectful, and gender‑affirming services for all. From medical camps and mental health support to paramedical training, community outreach, and advocacy, we are working on the ground to ensure that no one has to choose between their identity and their wellbeing. Together with our communities, partners, and allies, we are reimagining healthcare as a space of care, justice, and belonging—where everyone can be seen, heard, respected, and free to live with pride. 🌈

International Day of Innocent Children Victims of Aggression is observed every year on 4 June.

The United Nations established it in 1982 after the Lebanon War to recognize children harmed by physical, mental, and emotional abuse worldwide. It highlights the rights and protection of children affected by conflict and violence.

UNICEF data shows roughly one in two children globally experiences some form of violence, with tens of thousands killed, maimed, or recruited into armed groups each year. The day encourages renewed efforts to end these violations and support affected children.
